Privacy Policy

BookSprite uses information to provide narration, manage accounts and subscriptions, and keep the service working reliably. We do not sell personal information.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, account ID, and name if provided by your sign-in service.
• Book pages: we process images of book pages but do not maintain long-term copies of any images or text from our users.
• Usage information: reading-session times, pages narrated, and processing information help us track your allowance and troubleshoot problems.
• Subscription details: we receive purchase and subscription status to manage paid plans. We do not receive your full card or bank details.

Services we use

We use Google Cloud and RevenueCat to provide BookSprite. Your app store handles payments. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Website analytics

Our website uses Meta and TikTok to measure visits and clicks on app-store download links. They may receive browser and device details, cookies, referring-page information, and information derived from your IP address.

You can turn this off through Cookie Settings in the homepage footer. We also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Turning analytics off does not affect access to the website or download links.

These pixels are not used inside the BookSprite app. Meta and TikTok process information under their own privacy policies.

App advertising measurement

We work with third-party services like AppsFlyer to measure the performance of our ads. We do not include names, email addresses, book images, reading content, or child-related information in advertising events.

You can control individual ad matching under Account → Privacy settings. Campaign measurement remains on when individual ad matching is off.

Security and retention

We encrypt information sent between the app and our service and restrict access to authorized systems and staff.

We keep account, subscription, reading-session, and usage records while needed to operate your account. We retain limited operational logs for security and troubleshooting; these exclude book images, story text, credentials, and account identities. Service providers may retain information as described in their terms.

Delete your account

Request deletion from the Account screen or our account deletion page. After verification, we delete your account and associated personal data under our control.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it through your app store or BookSprite’s Manage billing screen. Payment providers may retain transaction records for financial, fraud-prevention, or legal requirements.
